    Very poor service. Service rep. spent almost as much time making calls because she couldn't find our appointment, that she could have taken care of us in the time she wasted.

    Very nice house, with 3 guest rooms and a huge shared room and kitchen. There is also a permanent B&B sitter staying at the place to welcome guests and help them. Quiet neighborhood. Shared bathroom wasn't really a problem given they are only 3 rooms. We barely saw other guests. Everything is well organized for short or longer stays. On the downside the only thing we have to say is the fact it's impossible to properly close room window and block daylight. Except from that our stay was great.

    Joey, Melanie, Danette and team were kind and caring with the arrangements of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. They saw to all our needs and they exceeded our expectations. They were very accommodating down to the little things like getting the right size envelopes for our thank you cards. Thank you Joey and team We highly recommend Ballard’s of Hilo.

  • Review of "Maunakea Observatories Support Services" at Hilo

    Feels otherworldly up here. Great place for unique vacation photos. Plan to come up and catch the sunset and be sure to bring warm layers no matter what time of day you come. The gift shop has warm clothes for sale that are pricey but the lined hoodies will become your favorite. Stay for a chance to hear about what's going on in the sky tonight and have a chance to look through high powered telescopes. This is one of my favorite places in the world!
