  Joey, Melanie, Danette and team were kind and caring with the arrangements of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. They saw to all our needs and they exceeded our expectations. They were very accommodating down to the little things like getting the right size envelopes for our thank you cards. Thank you Joey and team We highly recommend Ballard’s of Hilo.

  I recently had to plan my brother's service and was so frustrated with all the funeral homes I had called. By the time I contacted Ballard I had given up hope and felt like there were all heartless companies just trying to make money instead of being compassionate to my loss. Joey could tell I was upset and from the beginning offered any type of help he could to make this an easier process. All the other mortuaries were so cold in allowing us more than one viewing before having a service but Joey and Nazareth went above and beyond in treating us as part of the Ohana and making us feel a little more comfort thru a horrible situation. I recommend them and share the story with so many I encounter and hope you find this helpful if you ever have to plan such services. They also had some very beautiful cremation pendants as we had family travel from all over to be here and were able to send them home with a piece of my brother before they left.

  Very respectful wonderful kind people that helped us in this very difficult time. I worked with Mr Lee to bring a family member home. I talk with them over the phone the whole time and they were patient and understanding through that very tedious process I would recommend them to anyone thanks again everyone at Ballard
